Due to the raised nature of the artwork (3D on account of the found spectacle piece) it's blurred the scan in the middle!

Found object + acrylic + transfer + dehydrated black drawing ink.

This encapulates the mood of feeling shattered and shocked for me,the burned glasses rim which the chared "eye" makes me think of a face that has looked into the heart of a nuclear dentenation.

wow - this is great. i also think lost glasses have some melancholy to them ... and the title makes me think of an accident :(

It makes me kind of sad, reminds me of the time I stepped on my glasses! ):
But even otherwise, it seems very melancholy to me.
